Remember that fines for driving with a handheld device are now $225 and soon may increase to $500+ with the Keeping Ontario’s Roads Safe Act.

UPDATE As of September 2015, a set fine of $400 was established, and at trial there could be a fine range between $300 and $1000. As well, a conviction now carries 3 demerit points.
